Azizul Awang got relegated, Francois Pervis won and Italy's Francesco Ceci also made it to round 2.

Chris Hoy won as expected, but China's Qi Tang came in 2nd sending Jason Kenny to the reps.
Heat 4
Shan Perkis won and Yondi Schmid 2nd, Andrii Vybokurov and Michael d'Almeida have to go to the rep.
